Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, produced by Bolder Media for Boys and Girls, Inc. in association with IDT Entertainment, Inc. and created by Bob Boyle (producer on Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom), stars an innocent, cheerful little guy named Wubbzy and his two loveable pals Widget and Walden who live in the charming and visually quirky world of Wuzzleburg. Wubbzy wants to have fun and spend his time chasing flutterflys, eating ice cream and playing kickity-kickball! But when he runs into trouble, he calls on his two best friends for help and advice. Widget is a mechanical whiz who owns a fix-it shop and is always ready to lend a hand. Her solution to any problem is to build something big and complicated, but her inventions don't always work! Walden is a quirky intellect who finds great wisdom in everything from ancient philosophy to tarot card reading. He has a passionate curiosity and a unique way of looking at the world, but his brainy approach doesn't always produce practical results.

Nickelodeon will also 'sneak peak' an exclusive 10-minute story entitled "Tale of Tails," from the second episode of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, across the following Nickelodeon Preschool platforms:

-- On Monday, August 14, Nick Jr. Video, Nick Jr.'s broadband video service available on Nickjr.com, began streaming the "Tale of Tails" story from the second episode of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! -- On Tuesday, August 15, "The Wubbcast," the first video podcast of preschooler programming, began streaming "Tale of Tails." -- Beginning Monday, August 21, "Tale of Tails," in addition to a Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! behind-the-scenes special, will become available on Comcast's Video On Demand service as part of Comcast Kids' Month. -- Beginning in September, Video On Demand windowing of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! episodes will commence on Comcast, Charter, Cablevision, Verizon FiOS and Cox.

"Preschoolers are sure to have 'fun, fun, fun' with Wubbzy, Widget and Walden as the trio works together to solve everyday kid problems in a delightful, fantastical world," said Brown Johnson, Executive Creative Director, Nickelodeon Preschool Television. "We are thrilled to be working with the creative team at Bolder Media to bring Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! to families wherever they may be -- in front of the TV, online or on the go."

Each half-hour episode of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! will feature two, 10-minute adventures with Wubbzy, Widget and Walden. As each journey comes to a close, the themes of the day are reinforced through a direct-to-camera segment where the characters address the preschoolers at home, followed by an original music video.

The first two episodes of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! will feature the following stories:

(Premiere Episode): -- "Widget's Wild Ride" - Wubbzy is excited about racing in the annual Wuzzleburg Derby. But when Widget sees his little road-racer, she gives it the works with huge wheels, turbo-engines and sails. It seems there's no way Wubbzy can lose until the car goes completely berserk -- stopping, spinning and landing in Wuzzleburg pond! Widget is sad that she ruined his chance to win, but all may not be lost after all. -- "Attack of the 50-Foot Fleegle" - Wubbzy gets a strange new pet called a Fleegle. Wubbzy doesn't read the care manual, determined to take care of the animal by himself. When he feeds it candy instead of the right food, it starts growing and growing! The Fleegle rampages through Wuzzleburg, eating every sweet in sight. With help from Widget and Walden, Wubbzy must figure out how to stop it.

(Episode 2): -- "A Tale of Tails" - Wubbzy feels like an outsider because of his strange curvy tail. Not only does it cause trouble, but the other kids think it's weird and won't play with him. Widget invents the Tail-a-Tronic 3000 to straighten out his tail, but it makes things worse. When Widget's Robo-Cluck 3000 invention goes out of control, it's Wubbzy's tail that saves the day. The kids realize that you can't judge a Wubbzy by his tail! -- "Special Delivery" - A package for Walden is left in Wubbzy's care and Wubbzy can't resist opening it! He finds a toy train inside and starts playing with it. When Wubbzy can't figure out how to stop the runaway train, he must put it back in the box before Walden gets there! Widget tries to help corral the train, as they end up chasing it all over the backyard. Finally Walden shows up, and calmly uses the remote control to stop the chaos.

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! supports preschool social skills -- sharing, listening, compromising, helping and appreciating others, self-awareness and humor as a coping skill. Although their world is more fanciful and imaginative than our own, Wubbzy, Widget and Walden face the same interpersonal and developmental issues that typical preschoolers face. They learn how they fit into the group, how to understand their own feelings and those of others, and how to get along with one another. As preschoolers watch Wubbzy, Widget and Walden tackle these issues, they are exposed to important ideas about both interpersonal and intrapersonal development.
