Welcome to PaulKorda.com
Paul Korda's latest song "CO2" written
and recorded and the video posted in four days, was prompted by the Russian
invasion, nuclear threats to Poland, and the build up in the Gulf.
The song questions if carbon dioxide from global warming is affecting our
brains, considering the volatility of international confrontations, and the
potential for nuclear war.
The public domain
footage gathered here, is a reminder of the past insanity, that led to nuclear
weapons production, and by no means reflects the current mentality of the people
or leaders in present times, though the seriousness of any military
confrontation should never go unquestioned.
The Writing page has the
lyrics and eight 'radio quality' songs from the forthcoming
"Seeds'' album
that Paul Korda began with Roxy Music guitarist Chris Spedding. "Seeds''
will soon be available as a CD, so enjoy them while they're free!
On the site you can read about all the
fun Paul has had, writing and playing for singer Roger Daltrey, writing songs
sung by Frankie Valli, Dave Edmunds, Robert Palmer, Elkie Brooks, Italy's Patty Pravo,
and PP Arnold as well as singing and writing with guitar wizard
Allan Holdsworth, and many others. Also as an
actor in the Original London cast of "HAiR" to
"Pirates of the Caribbean", ''The Pink Panther" and his recent
spot in ''My Name is Earl'', as Gary, a ''black'' homeless man!
New samples of his CD "Not for Robots" are just waiting to be heard and they load

wrote:
Dear Mr Korda,
I'm an avid collector of music, especially
albums featuring those great session men: Chris Spedding & Ray
Russell.
At last I've managed to purchase the air mail recording CD of
'Passing Strangers'.
I love it, a true masterpiece that's obviously never had the
audience it deserves. A highlight to my collection.
Looking forward to your 'Seeds' CD.
Next stop Mike McGear's - Woman.
Cheers

Paul Korda, Snowy White and Paul's eldest son
Felix, meet up at LA's Forum prior to Snowy's gig playing guitar with Roger

early song recordings
"BEYOND THE DARKNESS":Paul Korda & the 32nd St/USC Choir
Recorded at A&M Studio A
Hollywood, where "We are the World" was recorded, and on location in East
Los Angeles, the music video was born out of Paul Korda teaching youngsters
at the community centers of East Los Angeles, to outlet their frustrations
through improvisational music creation. Seeing the benefits to the kids,
brought about by this spontaneous creation, he then went on to write "Beyond
the Darkness, with the intent of gaining financial resources for this form
of education, and with the help of many, made this video, proceeds that will contribute to the Magnet School Program

There's little doubt that creativity can help steer our Earth back from the
edge of destruction and help children to retain their innocence and build
their character, avoiding the pitfalls of urban destructive behavior,
especially that of abusive parents.
So support creativity by sending an email of the download and the artwork as
your way of showing your support for the expression of kids through the
performing arts and help the schools maintain their programs in the current
state budget shortfall.
Directed by Emmy winner Linda Yellen, arranged by Phil Collins' keyboard
player and film composer J. Peter Robinson, guitars by Michael Miller (Geno
Vanelli, Chick Corea) Choirmaster Mark Johnston. Special thanks to Herb
Alpert and everyone involved for helping to make it all possible. All the
love in the World to the children of the 32nd St./USC Magnet School for the
Arts and the children from the community centers of East Los Angeles, as
well as all the children of our small planet.
